My daughter has attended Purple Door now for a little bit over a year. She started at 18months. I was a typical nervous parent sending their child to daycare. Natalie, Gillian and Kristin were so wonderful and helped our daughter (and us) to feel comfortable right away. They have become like “extended family” to us knowing that they truly and genuinely care about our daughter. I would recommend purple door to anyone looking for a daycare where imagination, creativity, education, respect, support and kindness are the focus. We are so lucky to have our daughter here.

The unique environment at the Purple Door Children's Centre is filled with love and support for each child who enters it. The care provided by the director, Natalie and staff members is exceptional and comparable to the care a child receives within their own family. As longtime parents at the centre, we have developed a great relationship and feel there is consistent feedback and communication between staff and parents.
The security in knowing our children are being stimulated through the daily program of sensory, creative, language and science activities is a special feeling. Our children experience fun, learning and positive social interactions through the wonderful guidance of the staff.
Nutrition is key in the meals provided and there are many yummy favorites amongst the group of children, some so popular they are shared with parents to serve at home! The sense of belonging is amazing and for us as a family, Purple Door has been the best childcare experience. We would recommend this centre to any family searching for a valuable and exciting childcare setting.

"Our daughter Gracie began attending the Purple Door when she was 18 months old. Like any new parents, we were apprehensive about leaving our little girl at first but it didn't take long for us to stop worrying! She adored her teachers Natalie, Gillian and Kristin and made many good friends. It's hard to believe our daughter just graduated - it's an exciting time starting school but we will miss the PD so. My husband and I will always be grateful for the wonderful learning experiences she was given in a caring, healthy environment. Thank you, Purple Door!" Tanja

My daughter has loved Purple Door since her first day. The staff put her at ease and helped to make her comfortable and adjust to the new routines. She easily made friends and would sing us songs that she learned. We would even be told to act out some of the Big Group activities like picking a helper! The staff are so easy to get along with and are great resources. I recommend Purple Door to everyone!
I don't mind you putting my name on that because every word I wrote is the truth! You guys are great!

Purple Door is the closest thing to family you could ask for when it comes to leaving your child somewhere outside of the home. On my first visit there I asked them if they would love my child and hug her and hold her when she needed it. They said they would absolutely do that and it was true. My daughter, Simone, loved them and they loved her back the way every child needs to grow up healthy, happy and confident.
The small size, the play based learning philosophy, mixing the age groups together so that the young ones have kids to look up to and the older ones learn to be helpful and kind to the younger ones really appealed to me when I was first looking for a daycare. The healthy vegetarian food along with the incredible staff sealed the deal.
They were also very supportive with all the important stages like potty training and transitioning from naps, which some of my friends were very jealous of because it wasn't happening in the daycares they were using.
It broke our hearts to leave but my daughter is a happy, confident primary student now and the Purple Door staff had something to do with that. I have great respect and gratitude for them and would highly recommend Purple Door to anyone. Bronwen & Don
